Two Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 Has Interstate Closed in Orange County

PRESS RELEASE — At approximately 1:15am, the Texas Department of Public Safety received a report of a two vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near mile marker 875 in Orange County.  The crash involves a truck tractor semi-trailer and a passenger vehicle.
At this time, the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near mile marker 875 in Orange County are closed.  The roadway will remain closed until the crash has been safely cleared from the Interstate.  Motorists should expect long delays.
The Texas Department of Public Safety can confirm that one person has died as a result of this crash.

Thaddeus Demarius Jones, 26,  of Louisiana, has been identified as the driver killed in an early morning crash.
At this time, Troopers continue to investigate this fatal crash.
