Floyd John Richard

Floyd John Richard, 77 of Orange passed away October 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Arrangements are pending at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

A Mass of Christian Burial is pending at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orange. Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Brent Richard Jr, Brandon Richard, Kyle Richard, Dustin Green, Michael Richard, and John Richard. Honorary Pallbearers are Candice Trahan, Amanda McCurry, and Katie Mulhollan.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Richard of Lyons Point, Louisiana and Great Grandson Christopher Joseph Trahan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 57 years Elaine Richard. Bryan and Donna Richard, Darrell and Carrie Richard, Cheryl and Bryan Green, Brent and Mary Richard, and Chad Richard along with Nine Grandchildren and Fifteen Great Grandchildren of Orange. Along with two sisters and two brothers from Louisiana.

He Loved to fish at Toledo Bend and enjoyed being close and spending time with the family around. In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Southeast Texas Hospice at 912 West Cherry Avenue in Orange.
