Tropical Storm Karl forms in southwest Gulf of Mexico

Tropical Storm Karl has formed in the southwest Gulf of Mexico.

According to the National Weather Service, there is no significant impacts for Southeast Texas & Southwest Louisiana projected as of Tuesday afternoon.

The only impact will be additional moisture introduced to the area.

This will help boost rain chances through the next few days.

Landfall in Mexico is expected in the next 72 hours.
