On Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at approximately 8 a.m., the Lake Charles Police Department was assigned to a business in the 4000 block of Ryan Street in reference to a battery that occurred upon an elderly victim.  During the subsequent investigation, it was learned the victim had been battered by an unknown suspect.  The unknown suspect also threatened to commit bodily harm upon the victim.  The victim’s injuries were minor and did not require medical attention.
