PFC Gabriel Daniel Robert Torres

 PFC Gabriel Daniel Robert Torres, 22, of Orange, graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on May 22, 2020. PFC Torres successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 43 recruits in Training Platoon 3225. While in recruit training PFC Torres was a squad leader in his platoon. Due to COVID-19 restrictions he has yet to enjoy his 10-day home leave. At which time, he plans to marry his fiancé Mercedes Fezia, also of Orange. PFC Torres is currently on stand by to report to Camp Pendleton for one month of Military Combat Training. Upon completion, PFC Torres will then be stationed at his permanent duty station.
