Hello beautiful people. Do you have that one friend that has her whole home look pulled together? The friend that decorates for every season makes most of us wish we had their energy. I often stare in amazement at how they just pull things together so perfectly.

Usually they have done it so effortlessly it leaves you intimidated. Don’t be intimidated, be inspired my friends.

Be prepared to try different things, make a few trips and explore the unknown. Trust me you can never go wrong when you buy what makes you happy.

Start with the one piece you love and build off of it. Never be close minded to a great bargain. I found my most recent item at my local Dollar Tree. If you did not know, this store has wonderful dishes for a great price. They are not high-end dishes, but they are great quality and very durable for the price.

I came across a new set up as they were being put out on the floor. They were lemon dishes. I loved them but decided to leave them. I thought about it overnight and decided I should go back and get them. My table seats six people and purchasing a set of six sets including the glasses would be under $25.

Another thing to consider is incorporating what you already have.

I have navy blue place mats and knew that the yellow from the lemons would tie in nicely with the navy blue. Looking at the picture, you will see how the something blue and something new came together for a complete look.

My table is complete for a summer look for this summer and years to come.
