As of Wednesday, June 3, the Governor of Texas announced the third phase of the State of Texas’ plan to safely open the economy while containing the spread of COVID-19.  Under Phase III, all businesses will be able to operate at up to 50% capacity, which includes museums.  The Friends of the Orange Depot is announcing that the historic Southern Pacific Depot is now available for special event rentals.  The small room can now accommodate a maximum of 25 persons, the large room, 50 persons.  Both rooms may be reserved for larger events.  Minimum standard health protocols will be followed.

Graduation celebrations, as well as birthdays, showers, anniversaries, weddings and meetings are welcomed.  Anyone interested in reserving a date is encouraged to call Rose at (409) 330-1576 as soon as possible.  Weekends are the most popular times.  More information at www.orangetxdepot.org.
