Hello beautiful people. Here we are a week later and things in our world are vastly different than they were when I typed part one of this week’s article.

I looked for a catalyst to change the look of the hardware from my home.

Last week I took a natural approach to the project and it was a very subtle outcome. This week called for a more aggressive approach, so I picked up a chemical at a local hardware store. I applied it per the instructions and there was a little improvement.

I gave it one more application and you will see the results.

Do I think this hardware is beyond repair? No, I don’t.

I think I need to go back to the drawing board and do a little more research and try something else. I think it will take a little more elbow grease on my part, but it isn’t beyond repair.

This hardware was shiny and new at some point. Years of wear and tear have worn it down to a place where it isn’t as recognizable. It is still beautiful underneath and just needs some love and help to get back to its original beauty.

The new beauty will be different. It will still have some scars and dings, but it will emerge gorgeous in its own right again.

I will keep it short this week and share the final image. Remember to share your projects with me at OrangeYouBold@gmail.com and follow me on Instagram @OrangeYouBold. Be bold and be you. Aren’t you bold? YES I AM
