Michael Wayne Owens, a lifelong resident of Houston, TX, passed unexpectedly on April 30, 2020, at the age of 49 at his residence.

Michael lived in Houston; however, Orange was his home.

He loved spending quality time with family and friends. He loved fishing and working in the yard.  Michael was a loving father, son, and brother. He will be forever loved and missed by everyone who had a chance to know him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife LaSandra Lewis, and stepdaughter Nicole Lewis, both of Houston, parents Dianna Simien of Orange, Willie Owens (Pat)

of Houston, biological father Marvis Lee King (Denise) of Orange, sisters Kendra Manuel (Alvin) and Shenika Baines (Reginald) of Houston, Shikeria Simien and Jacquenae Budwine (Kenneth), both of Dayton, TX, brothers Mark Roberts (Trina) Orange, Dedric Simien (Ericka) of Kansas City, Kansas,  Hubert Jr. Simien (Cynthia) of Baytown, TX,  Carlton Simien (Latisha) of Orange, Corey Simien (Maria) of Lake Charles, LA and Dersedrick Simmons, Orange.

He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family and many friends.
