Do you have the skill set, the mindset, or the capability to compete with me?

I guess the first question that I should ask is do you have a desire to compete? If you don’t have a desire to compete then I guess we have our answer.

I not only have the skill set, mindset and capability, I have the capacity and desire to compete and win.

I have never agreed with people when they say, “it’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game (compete)”.

I’m not a proponent of the participation trophy. This is not life. Life is totally about winning and losing.

We have too many people in life that are looking to be rewarded simply because they participated. They want the same prize and prestige that is awarded to someone who has put in the work. Stayed up late, got up early, and made the necessary sacrifices to the mind and the body that it takes to win.

Can you compete with me?

It is my belief the day we can digest losing is the day we stop competing. Loving to win should cultivate our hatred to lose.

Do we lose? Have I ever lost? Yes, I have, and the feeling still turns my stomach even now as I think about it.

Losing should never feel good. Losing should affect us in a way that will drive us to look at ourselves and see where we are deficient. I use the experience of a loss to help me become a better competitor. When we experience loss, are we looking to find the lesson in it? What value is there in the loss I just suffered?

I have learned that the only good thing about losing is when I can learn the lesson that helps me overcome the deficiencies, disabilities, dysfunctions and distractions that caused me to lose. Champions never settle, especially after they have tasted the goodness and sweetness of winning. There is a certain swagger that a winner has. I’ve found that losers call a winner’s confidence conceitedness, their assurance arrogance.

Competition is in my blood. Winning is in my blood.

Can you compete with me? If you’re scared, stay home. If you don’t have a winning mindset, don’t even get on the field.

My cousin, Gideon, had 32,000 who though they could compete with him. He found that only 300 could compete.

Our communities and culture are up for grabs. I play to win.
