BEAUMONT, Texas – The Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center released the following numbers for COVID-19 positive test results as reported by area Public Health Departments:

Total calls received by Call Center – 8,058

• 8 calls received today (yesterday 127)
• 5,852 patients have been tested since the Call Center opened

               If you would like to be tested for COVID-19, please call 409-550-2536 for an appointment.  Although the EOC has discontinued testing at the Jack Brooks Airport, the Call Center number will remain active and calls will be forwarded to the appropriate health jurisdiction to arrange testing.  The public is reminded to continue to practice social distancing and to continue to conduct business online and contactless whenever possible.
