Special to the Leader

Spring Break message from LCM Superintendent Stacey Brister.

LCM Family,
Thank you for your continued support in working with our Flexible Instruction Program!

LCM will be on Spring Break Friday, April 10th-Friday, April 17th. As in a traditional, non-COVID Spring Break, we will not have instruction or food service during this time. We encourage you to put the instructional materials away and enjoy the days off. You deserve it!

We continue to work with our local and state authorities as we monitor the COVID-19 impact on our county, city, and district. At this time, it is too soon to know when the emergency orders will be lifted and if a traditional school calendar will resume. There are also many questions about upcoming school activities. As soon as we can make reasonable plans for activities we will release this information.

Our goal is to keep our students and staff safe and continue to follow the social distancing policies in place. We appreciate your help in all that you are doing to help educate your child!

May you have a blessed, restful, and wonderful few days “off” from school!

Stay Strong, Be Safe, and Take ONE day at a time!
