The threat for strong to severe storms is increasing for late today. All of southeast Texas is now in a slight risk (15%). The marginal risk (5%) covers all of southwest, south central, and central Louisiana.
The timing of these storms will be late afternoon and this evening.
The primary threat will be damaging winds, hail, and lightning.
