On April 4, 2020 Orange PD investigated the homicide of Trey Gibson.

Gibson expired from a single gunshot to his chest.

On April 7, 2020 Orange PD obtained and served Capital Murder warrants on Clifton Hawthorne, 21, and Davion Riggs, 17, for the murder of  Gibson.  Both were taken into custody without incident.
