According to a police scanner, a man fired shots at a deputy at approximately 2:14 p.m. on Wednesday.
State Hwy. 12 between Farm to Market Roads 1132 and 1136 are closed in both directions at this time.
SWAT is on the scene.
Avoid the area and find alternate routes.
