The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from March 15 – March 21, 2020:

Sunday, March 15

  • Disturbance on Johnnie Street in Orange. One male was arrested for pending criminal charges
  • Animal bite in Bridge City
  • Animal bite at the 500 block of Jackson in Orange. 

Monday, March 16

  • Stolen vehicle near Farm to Market Road 1136 and Interstate 10 in Orange
  • Criminal mischief on Stephenson Road in Vidor
  • Criminal mischief at the 200 block of Border Street in Orange
  • Vicious animal at the 1600 block of Cheyenne in Vidor
  • Animal bite at the 5000 block of Oak Lane in Orange
  • Animal bite at the 900 block of Courmier in Vidor
  • Criminal mischief at the 500 block of Simmons in Vidor
  • Disturbance at the 9000 block of Bill Lane in Orange
  • Runaway at the 200 block of Border Street in Orange
  • Reckless driving at the 10500 block of Interstate 10 east in Orange
  • Disturbance at the 1500 block of Ogden in Vidor
  • Runaway at the 200 block of Pine Forest Drive in Vidor

Tuesday, March 17

  • Criminal mischief at the 100 block of Stephenson Road in Vidor

Wednesday, March 18

  • Traffic stop at the 13000 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange. The driver of the motorcycle was arrested for pending criminal charges.
  • Located stolen vehicle at the 5300 block of Caribou Street in Orange
  • Assault at the 2900 block of Elm Street in Orange
  • Disturbance on Aloha Street in Vidor

Thursday, March 19

  • Criminal mischief at the 300 block of Oakgrove Street in Vidor
  • Vicious animal at the 2300 block of John Street in Vidor
  • Burglary at the 2900 block of Lawn Oak Drive in Orange
  • Traffic stop at the 2200 block of MacArthur Drive in Pinehurst.
  • Traffic stop on Old Hwy.90 in Vidor. A vehicle was driving the wrong way on a one-way street. During the stop, drugs were discovered and seized. One person has pending criminal charges.

Friday, March 20

  • Vehicle in a ditch at the 3000 block of Little Cypress Drive in Orange. While on the scene, a runaway from another police agency was located and recovered.
  • Runaway reported in the Vidor area.

Saturday, March 21

  • Assault at the 2000 block of Havens Road n Vidor.
  • Burglary at the 2400 block of Claire Drive in Orange
  • Sexual assault of a child in the VIdor area.
