Based on the most recent addendum to the Orange County emergency order, it has become necessary to extend our school facility closure through Friday, April 10, 2020, which is Good Friday, a holiday on our school calendar.This will change our previous return date of Monday, April 6, 2020, to Monday, April 13, 2020 (new expected return date).

FEP Plan Assignment DispersalStudents

Using Technology Online lessons will be updated through Google Classroom.

Students Not Using Technology(only one day pickup) On Friday, April 3, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. –6:00 p.m.all three OISD campuses will disperse nine days of assignments.***These assignments will be for the weeks April 6th and April 13th.

***The additional week of work is precautionary and will allow for the entire week of April 6-10, 2020 with no need to report to the district for assignments.Any assignments for the week of April 13-17, 2020, will be used as class assignments if we return to school as scheduled.

Assignment Pickup

LocationsPre-Kindergarten -5th Grade:Pickup location-Elementary Cafeteria-Assignments will be picked up at the eastside entrance near the teacher parking and student drop-off and pickup area.

6th Grade -8th Grade:Pickup location-Junior High Southside Entrance/Exit-Assignments will be picked up at the southside entrance on the football stadium side.

9th Grade -12th Grade:Pickup location-High School Cafeteria-Assignments will be picked up on the northside of the campus at the back of the school by the cafeteria. You will need to enter from the museum/new gym side and drive behind the school to access the assignment pickup location.You will exit from the same entrance location. (You will not be able to exit out through the fieldhouse parking lot.)

Child Nutrition Meal Service

Our district will not serve meals on Good Friday, April 10, 2020.

High School Athletic and Junior High and High School Band Equipment Pickup On Friday, April 3, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m., parents and students may come to the pickup locations listed below for their band instruments or athletic equipment.
