Special to the Leader

The Mauriceville Heritage Association has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Texas and its potential impact on our events. The safety of our guests, vendors, teams, staff, and artists is of paramount importance. As we continue to follow the leadership of our State and local officials, The 2020 Crawfish Bash, Parade, and Miss Orange County Pageant has been canceled.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding of this evolving global situation. Please email admin@mauricevilleheritage.org for refunds. We will be reaching out to vendors, teams, and sponsors personally, so please give us a few days to reach you regarding your funds.

We looked at all options including postponing the event. Unfortunately, we had no alternative do to several factors such as entertainment, our carnival, permits, and general logistics, ect. We were also informed that our crawfish suppliers were concerned with the availability of crawfish later in the summer. Lastly, many of our teams and vendors had scheduling conflicts. We have worked diligently since May of 2019 to provide a wonderful event for our community. These circumstances could not be foreseen and are changing daily.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this dynamic situation, and as always, thank you for your support of the Mauriceville Heritage Association. We look forward to welcoming you back to our future events. Please continue to check this page for regular updates.

We have already begun preparing for the 2021 Crawfish Bash which will be our 40th Anniversary. Our bash will be bigger and better next year. Please save the date for 5/1/2021.
