LITTLE CYPRESS – Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD Superintendent Stacey Brister issued the following statement to all LC-M parents Tuesday morning:

LC-M will begin food service delivery this morning at approximately 8:00 a.m. for breakfast. Your LC-M child is eligible for breakfast and lunch each day. Buses will leave the cafeteria at approximately 10 a.m. to begin routes serving lunch. Government regulations require us to make two separate deliveries for the two meals, rather than both at the same time.

We ask for your patience. We know there will be issues faced .
Currently, our meal count is based on the average number of meals served each day. We understand this number could be more or less through the delivery service. Also, if your child rarely or never rides a bus, transportation may not know your child or the house they live in on a bus route. If we do not stop and you wish for us to do so, please call transportation at 409-670-4601.

We will continue to modify our efforts to provide both breakfast and lunch each day to your LCM child. Please work with us as we are attempting a service we never considered would be a part of a normal school day.
