SILSBEE – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears bombarded the Silsbee Lady Tigers 10-0 in District 22-4A play at Lady Tiger Field Friday night to run their district record to 2-0.

The Lady Bears received another strong effort from Karson Friar on the hill as she went the distance, scattering two hits while striking out 11 and walking one.

Bailey Frenzel was 3-for-4 at the plate with three doubles and two runs batted in to power the high-octane offense.

Cami Shugart went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Olivia Leavings had a hit and two RBI. Friar had a triple. Savanna Beard and Megan Peveto each had doubles. Payten Smith and Madeline Stephenson each added singles.
