Bobcats topple Woodville in Silsbee tourney

SILSBEE – The Orangefield Bobcats snagged a 6-1 victory over the Woodville Eagles at the Silsbee Tournament Friday.

Bryce Bergeron snagged the win on the hill for the Bobcats (9-3). He worked six innings, scattering two hits while striking out five and walking one. Kadeon Evans tossed one inning of relief.

The Bobcats had 11 hits in the game. Evans, Gunner Jones and Kent Michael collected two hits each to pace the Bobcat arsenal.
