NEDERLAND – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears notched a nice 2-1 road win over the Nederland Bulldogs Tuesday behind a strong pitching performance by Hunter Perkins.

Perkins went the distance for the Bears, scattering five hits while striking out eight.

The Bears got their two runs in the top of the third inning.

Zach McNeil, Ashton Landry, Zach Krummel, Ty Moreland and Anthony Bandiero all had hits for the Bear offense.
