BRIDGE CITY – The Bridge City Cardinals strummed the Kirbyville Wildcats 17-3 in non-district action at Chuck Young Field Monday night.

The Cardinals (11-0-1) out hit the Wildcats 9-2.

Sam Carpenter and Cameron Yadon each drove in three runs while Jackson Tims had two RBI.

Carpenter, Yadon and Jaxon Bernard each had two hits.

Trey Lovelace and Logan Hamm helped shut down the Kirbyville offense from the Cardinal mound.

Bridge City will be in the Jasper Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
