Third-grade students at OES celebrated Texas Public Schools’ Week by learning about the great state of Texas. Students enjoyed activities throughout the week. Most agreed their favorite day was Texas State Snack Day (chips and salsa) as students were able to sample the snack after reading the children’s book, Chicks and Salsa by Aaron Reynolds.
