Precious Memories Ladies luncheon

Precious Memories Ladies luncheon will be held at First Baptist Church, Bridge City Family Life Center 200 W. Roundbunch Rd. from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. The ticket price is $8. Tickets are available online at www.fbcbc.org/lunch and in the church office. Online orders, please keep your email confirmation to present as your ticket. The menu will consist of chicken spaghetti, salad, green beans, bread and dessert provided by the Courtyard Café. There will be a photo op, door prizes, and fellowship. Food Pantry

5K Ministries Food Pantry, located at 9125 Skeeter, Orange, TX 77632 at the corner of Hwy 62 and Skeeter 3 miles north of the intersection in Mauriceville, is open 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Fridays. For more information, call 409-745-7110

 

Lenten Fish Fry

St. Francis of Assisi, Knights of Columbus Council 13825 is selling fish dinners in the San Damiano Center (behind the Church) located at 4300 Meeks Drive from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the following Lenten Fridays:  March 13, March 20, March 27 and April 3. Dinner includes two pieces of fish, french fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, drink and dessert for $10.

 

Samaritan’s Closet

Samaritan’s Closet is open each Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 1009 Mill Street in Orange. Helping in the community with new and like-new clothing, cleaning supplies, toiletries and more.

 

OASIS

Older Adults Sharing In Service (OASIS), at Orange Church of God on 16th Street, is at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. Older adults participate in community service projects, exercise, music, puzzles, devotions, games, intergenerational fellowship, and cognitive stimulation during the four-hour sessions. Currently, the church is accepting registration from those interested. Orange Church of God is located at 1911 North 16th Street in Orange. Feed the Hungry

Mt. Olive Baptist Church hosts Feed the Hungry from 12 Noon – 1 p.m. each Thursday at the Rosa Watson Kitchen located at 106 West Park Ave., in Orange.

Often friends and family want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been the same. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future. We will meet at Community Church on at 6:30 p.m.
