LITTLE CYPRESS – The LC-M Battlin’ Bears bats were hot early as they pounded out a 14-3 victory over Onalaska Tuesday night at Gibbens Field.

The Bears exploded for eight of their runs in the second frame. The Bears were sparked in the big inning by singles by Zach Krummel and Ty Moreland, a big triple by Ashton Landry, a home run blast by Anthony Bandiero and a double by Zach McNeil.

Krummel and Hunter Perkins each had three hits as the Bears pounded out 15 hits against Onalaska pitching. Landry had a big home run in the fifth inning while Moreland had three steals.

Perkins got the win for the Bears on the hill while Landry and Jody Ray also pitched.
