LC-M baseball splits two at Whitehouse tourney

WHITEHOUSE – The LC-M baseball unit has split a pair of battles at the Whitehouse Tournament thus far.

The Bears defeated Henderson 10-0 to earn a shutout.

The Bears exploded for nine of their runs in the third inning.

Zach McNeil, Zach Krummel, Ty Moreland, Hunter Perkins and Austin Smith all had runs batted in during the frame.

Anthony Bandiero allowed no runs on one hit over three innings of work on the hill and struck out three batters. He was also 2-for-2 at the plate.

The Bears fell to Whitehouse in their first tilt 5-1.

Krummel was 1-for-2 with a RBI. Smith was 1-for-2. Perkins and Moreland were each 1-for-3. McNeil was1-for-2 while Brett Burrows roped a double.
