Diboll downs Bobcats in bidistrict playoffs

KIRBYVILLE – A solid basketball campaign came to a close for the Orangefield Bobcats Tuesday night as they fell to Diboll 69-51 in Class 3A Region III bidistrict playoff action at Kirbyville High School.
Diboll (24-8) pulled away from the Bobcats (20-17) with a big third-quarter push.
Bryce Bergeron led the Bobcats with 18 points and five rebounds.
Coy Bryant filtered in 14 points and swiped three steals while Payton Wrinkle contributed 10 points and three rebounds.
