Family escapes house fire

A family of four was able to escape a massive house fire early Monday morning.

Orange Fire Department responded to the reported structure fire around 5:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of Highland Avenue in Orange.

According to the homeowner, his wife, and kids were also inside the house asleep and heard a pop in the garage.

The family quickly was awaken and noticed heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage. The family immediately evacuated the home and call 911 for help.

Upon arrival of firefighters on scene, there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage area of the home and flames could be seen down the street.

Firefighters quickly attacked the blaze to save what parts of the structure they could.

Several cars in the garage and outside of the garage where damage from the fire.

No injuries were reported from the fire and the cause of the fire is not known at this time.

The home suffered major fire, water, and smoke damages, it’s not sure if the home is a total lost.

The fire is under investigation by the City of Orange Fire Marshal.
