GALVESTON – The Orangefield Lady Bobcats finished the weekend 5-0 with two wins on Saturday at the Galveston Ball Mardi Gras Tournament.

Game 1:

Tiffany Ciancaglione was 2 for 3 with a stolen base and a run scored. Emma Humplik had a run scored. Heather Mineer was 1 for 3 with an RBI. Codie Sorge had an RBI.

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound giving up 4 hits with 10 strikeouts in 6 innings.

Ryden Stanfield went 1 for 1 with a double, 2 walks and 3 runs scored. Bailee South went 1 for 1 with a walk and 2 RBIs. Codie Sorge went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Sadie Daigle went 1 for 2 with a walk and 2 runs scored. Emma Humplik had 2 walks and an RBI. Tiffany Ciancaglione went 1 for 1 with 2 walks and 4 RBIs. Olivia Grant had an RBI.

Codie Sorge got her 5th win of the weekend giving up 2 hits and 5 strikeouts in 3 innings with the run-rule victory.

The Lady Bobcats improve their overall record to 6-0 and will pick back up on Tuesday vs. Bridge City at home beginning at 5:30.
