LITTLE CYPRESS – The LC-M Bears hosted the Bear Iron Invitational Powerlifting meet and finished with multiple lifters placing Thursday:

For the girls; Samantha Pevey placed second, Abbigail Hudnall placed third, and Jairyn Leger placed first with a three-lift total of 510 pounds in their weight classes.

For the Boys; Airik Cast placed fourth, Hayden Milam placed fourth place, Jan Nazario fourth place, Eric Garcia fourth place, Jacob Burman third place, Ethan Duhon second place, Dustin Bland first place with a three-lift total of 660 pounds and Ethan McKay first place with a three- lift total of 1,520 pounds.
