Little Cypress-Mauriceville standout football player Ethan McCollum signed a full scholarship offer for Houston Baptist University from the Southland Conference in front of family and friends Wednesday at LC-M High School. McCollum was the 2019 Most Valuable Player on the All-Orange Leader Football Team from his quarterback position. McCollum rushed for 1,187 yards and 22 touchdowns and passed for 1,625 yards and six TDs. HBU is looking to utilize McCollum as a linebacker and safety.
