LITTLE CYPRESS – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears took command early to roll past the Bridge City Lady Cardinals 50-38 in District 22-4A play at The Grove Friday night.

Brittany Wyatt led the Lady Bears (14-12, 3-8) with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Zaria Johnson had 10 points and three steals. Chelsea Perry notched seven points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Christina Joseph tallied seven points while Zoe Levens had six for the Lady Bears, who will wrap up their season at West Orange-Stark Tuesday.

The Lady Cardinals (17-14, 3-8) will return home to face Lumberton.
