PRESS RELEASE — Hope everyone had a great week. Not too bad around here. Let’s see what’s been going on.
This Thursday, May 2, 2019 is National Day of Prayer. We are having a big Prayer gathering at the flag pole here at the Courthouse at 12 noon. Everyone is invited. I will start with a prayer and invite anyone else who would like to say a prayer to do so. Hope lots of people will be involved in this. Ya’ll come.
Received a 911 call at 11:30 at night where two men were trying to load a portable building on a trailer. The home owner has been deceased for several months. We are trying to find out the rest of the story. The deceased man’s family is saying one thing, the people loading the building saying another.
A man called 911 and said his house, table and mattress has bullet holes in them. We are still trying to find out what happened.
We received a 911 call from a lady reporting several very small children were playing in the middle of a county road. The smallest child didn’t have any clothes on. When the lady stopped, three of the children ran to the yard and the smallest came to her car. Took forever for the mom to answer the door. Very close to getting charges filed on mom.
Lady stopped to give a male subject a ride home. She called to tell us that the man was holding her hostage. By the time we got there, all was ok.
Two girl friends got into a spat over dirty dishes. One threw a piece of paper at the other. Now one wants to file assault charges on the other. Wash the dishes and that wouldn’t have happened.
Gotta go. Thought for the week: If you want to leave footprints in the sand of time, don’t drag your feet. Yall have a great week, if we can help, just holler. God Bless!
