BC Power teams win own meet

BRIDGE CITY — Last week the Bridge City Powerlifting Team hosted their annual meet.  Both teams lifted big and made sure they kept the first place honors at home.  The results are as follows:

Junior Megan Rappelet placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 380 pounds.

Junior Josie Watts placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 430 pounds.

Freshman Jamie Ener placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 365 pounds.

Junior Sadie Stone placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 650 pounds.

Sophomore Ruth Hamilton placed third in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 540 pounds.

Junior Hannah Kincannon placed third in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 590 pounds.

Senior Lacey Pender placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 790 pounds.

Senior Jadyn Cunningham placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 675 pounds.

Freshman Evelyn Lecea placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 575 pounds.

Senior Chloe LeJeune placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 780 pounds.

Sophomore Spencer Beck placed second in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 570 pounds.

Senior Alex Williams placed second in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 835 pounds.

Freshman Shayan Rahim placed third in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 725 pounds.

Junior Jake Potter placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 1000 pounds.

Junior Josh Fuselier placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 915 pounds.

Junior Sheldon Becker placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 1085 pounds.

Freshman Tommy Romero placed fourth in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 890 pounds.

Junior Davion Coleman placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 1185 pounds.

Sophomore Kyler Thomas placed second in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 895 pounds.

Senior Jack Fontenot placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 1650 pounds.

Junior Trenton Roccaforte placed fifth in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 930 pounds.

 

The Bridge City Powerlifting Team will lift next Thursday, February 7, at the Nederland Invitational Meet.
