Third-grade students are learning about soil and how to make your own compost.  Students did an earthworm study and learned how important worms are to our soil.  Students have also been learning about vermicomposting or composting with earthworms. We have been feeding banana peels, egg shells, and magic earthworm food to our little worms to keep them happy and healthy!
