What a week we had last week. We went from can to can’t. Let’s see what it was all about.

We received a report of a brand new travel trailer abandoned in the Deweyville area.

It was stolen in the Vidor area. We got with Orange County and now have two stolen travel trailers and a 4-wheeler have been recovered. We know who the bad guy is and three counties have warrants on him. Anyone know where John Michael Anzovino, white male, 38 year old is, please give us a call.

Deputy Carter got after a pickup that may have been involved in a theft. The driver ran across the state line and down several back roads. Next thing we know, me and four other vehicles were stuck in a swamp near Starks, La. Thank God for the Deweyville Fire Department, they rescued us by pulling all of us out of the swamp. The bad guy ran on foot after he got stuck. Us or the dogs never caught him. Big thanks to Deweyville Fire and Rescue.

The State Jail Commission pulled a surprise inspection on our Jail last week. We passed with flying colors. Major thanks goes out to Jail Captain, Ashley Morrow and her staff. Great Job!

Received a 911 call from a man complaining his wife is cooking hamburgers for dinner again. What can I say?

We ran a search warrant with several other police agencies looking for child porn on a man’s computer. We found what we were looking for. Several charges filed. One male from the Pine Grove area arrested and his bond set at $275,000.

Gotta Go. Thought for the week. Don’t forget Mother’s Day or as they say in Beverly Hills, Dad’s third wife day. Ya’ll have a great week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless
