A man was rushed into surgery Thursday night with several gunshot wounds to his extremities and torso.
Orange Police officers responded to a 9-1-1 call in reference to a shooting at 9:08 p.m. at the 2500 block of West Park Ave. in Orange.
Officers located the victim, DeMarcus Rogers, 23, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Rogers condition was unknown at the time of a press release from Orange Police Department.
“We do not think it will be life threatening at this time,” Captain Robert Enmon said. “Multiple shots were fired.”
Officers searched other apartments foe the possibility of bullets entering nearby apartments.
No other injuries were reported.
The case remains under investigation.
