Mustangs mow down H-F as Dallas fans 14

WEST ORANGE — Receiving a masterful performance from senior ace Chad Dallas, the West Orange-Stark Mustangs nabbed their first District 22-4A win of the season by blanking the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns at Anderson Field Tuesday night.

Dallas worked 6 2/3 innings, allowing just two hits while striking out 14 and walking three.

Jacob Dominguez was 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and drove in four runs.

Dallas was 1-for-3 with a double and scored twice. Kaleb Istre was 1-for-3 and scored a run. Blake Robinson and Jerren Terrell each went 1-for-3. Justin Veitch drove in a run and scored and William Robles scored twice.

The Mustangs (11-11, 1-2) will now visit Hamshire-Fannett Thursday night.
