Bobcats make quick work of Woodville

The Orangefield Bobcats snagged an easy victory over Woodville 10-1 on Tuesday.

In the first inning, the Bobcats got their offense started.  Brett Fregia drew a walk, scoring one run.

The Bobcats notched three runs in the fifth inning.  Blake Bradley and Kadeon Evans powered the big inning with RBIs.

Bradley was credited with the victory for Bobcats. He went four innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out four.  Evans and Gunner Jones entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Bryant toed the rubber for Woodville. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out two.  Young and Shaw entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.

Bobcats racked up 11 hits on the day.  EvansJones, and Mason Gonzales all collected multiple hits for Bobcats.  GonzalesJones, and Evans each collected two hits to lead Bobcats.  Bobcats didn’t commit a single error in the field. Gonzales hit his 3rd home run of the year for the Bobcats.

Woodville collected six hits.  Bell and Bryant all managed multiple hits for Woodville.
