The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears and the West Orange-Stark Mustangs have their Class 4A Region III area round playoff games set this week.

The Bears will take on Hardin-Jefferson Friday at 7 p.m. at Port Neches-Groves High School. Admission is $5 for everyone.

The Bears edged Diboll 43-42 in the bidistrict round while H-J defeated Houston Wheatley 65-58.

The Mustangs will battle Houston Yates Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Channelview High School. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

The Mustangs toppled Jasper 74-71 in the bidistrict round while Yates defeated Cleveland 111-78.
