Friday evening, Orange Police Department announced Akiyah Ward  has been found and is home safe with her family.

PRESS RELEASE — On December 12, 2017 Orange Police Department received a report of a runaway involving a 13 year old female.  Akiyah Heaven Ward (b/f/01-30-2004) was reported to have left West Orange Middle School without permission.  Orange PD received information that Akiyah Ward may be in the Silsbee/Kountze area.  Akiyah Ward whereabouts are unknown at this time.
