It was a hot and humid day and I just walked outside. I walked to the mailbox and took out my mail. I looked at the blue, clear sky and I thanked God for another day. The little boy next door was riding his bicycle and his dog was in my yard. Then at that moment, I realized something, MY YARD LOOKED HORRIBLE.

I let the grass grow so high that I could not stand looking at my yard. I looked across the street and I saw a man working on the neighbors grass across the street. Their yard looked so beautiful and I wanted my yard to look the same.

So I walked across the street and asked how much the man charges and if he could cut my grass.

He responded “Time is money; yes I can do it today.”

I was elated; it was as if it was Christmas morning. I was super, super happy.

I went back in the house to tend to my little one, did some chores and then walked outside to see the progress so far. I wanted to cry, I could see my house again, I jokingly said to myself. He had done such a great job so far.

After about forty minutes, I walked outside and my backyard and front yard was perfect. I told the young man, “Thank you so much, you truly made my day.”

“He said I am glad you like it. I try to always make sure I do my best.”

Mr. Felix Reed is the name of the humble man who did such a beautiful job on my yard. His slogan is “NO JOB TOO BIG OR SMALL”. If you need some work done, please contact him (409) 920-0022.

I paid him and expressed again my gratitude to him. It is so hard to find good help these days, but Mr. Reed proved me wrong.
