While patrolling, an Orange police officer noticed a man sleeping in the drivers seat of a vehicle at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Monday at the 1100 block of Green Ave. in Orange.

Spotting what the officer believed to be synthetic marijuana laying in the man’s lap, the officer woke the man and asked him to exit the vehicle, to which he complied.

Another package was located in the vehicle.

Ronald Thomas Jr. was charged with possession of synthetic marijuana, less than 2 ounces.
