Salter wins Run Off election

With 332 total ballots turned in for the City of Orange Run Off Election for Dist. Three Council member, the unofficial tabulation shows Terrie T. Salter the winner with 60.24 percent of the votes.

With a low turnout for the elections, 248 voted in early elections and 84 residents cast their ballots on Saturday for a total of 332 votes.

There are over 2,900 registered voters in District Three.

Salter will be sworn in after the canvassing of the votes at the 5:30 p.m. June 27 Orange City Council meeting.
