Orange Police officers, at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday, responded to the 300 block of Burton Ave. in Orange in reference to a man creating a disturbance.

Upon arriving at the scene, the officer found a man matching the description provided by dispatch.

A check for outstanding warrants verified the man, identified as Centarius Chavis, of Orange, had three warrants:

Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon – no bond

Resisting arrest – no bond

Safety Equipment on bike – $211.10 fine

Chavis was placed under arrest and transported to the Orange County Jail.
