UPDATE: Lake Charles PD seeks wanted fugitive

UPDATE:

On June 14, 2017, the Lake Charles Police Department obtained information that Will Celestine was at Gulf Stream Mobile Home Park, 8559 Gulf Highway. Detectives learned that residents of that Mobile Home Park assisted Will Celestine in evading Law Enforcement. Detectives located a family member at the location and placed her under arrest. During the investigation, Detectives learned that an additional family member and friend also assisted Celestine with evading capture.

On June 15, 2017, members of the Lake Charles Police Department SWAT Team and Detective Division located the second family member and friend and placed them under arrest.

Arrested: Katina Jasmine Celestine, black female, 24 years of age, date of birth: 3-1-1993, address: 8559 Gulf Highway, lot 387, Lake Charles, LA

Charges: Obstruction of Justice, Accessory after the fact, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile Bond- $60,000 – signed by Judge Guy Bradberry

Jessica Celestine, black female, 29 years of age, date of birth: 7-23-1987, address: 2122 Medora Street, Lake Charles, LA

Charges: Obstruction of Justice, accessory after the fact

Bond: $50,000 -signed by Judge Guy Bradberry

Tabitha Bergeron, white female, 23years of age, date of birth: 4-24-94, address: 8559 Gulf Highway, lot 387, Lake Charles, LA

Charges: Obstruction of Justice, Accessory after the fact, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile Bond: $55,000 – signed Judge Guy Bradberry

 

Celestine is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Celestine should contact Sergeant Franklin Fondel or Lieutenant Lecia McCullough at 337-491-1311, CrimeStoppers at 337-439-2222 or 911.

 

Any person caught assisting or hiding Celestine will face charges

UPDATE: The Lake Charles Police Department and CrimeStoppers are offering a CASH REWARD for information leading to the arrest of Will Antonio Celestine. This subject is still wanted on multiple warrants and is to be considered armed and dangerous.

On June 11, 2017, during the early morning hours, the Lake Charles Police Department began investigating two separate incidents. In both, a subject identified as Will Celestine had committed domestic battery on two separate women in the presence of their children. One of the victims was also shot by Celestine. Lake Charles Police Detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of Will Antonio Celestine.

On June 13, 2017 Lake Charles Police SWAT team members came in contact with Celestine. Celestine fled in a vehicle leading Officers in a high-speed vehicle pursuit. Celestine lost control and crashed the vehicle into a residence in the 2000 block of Martha Street and then fled on foot.

At the end of the high speed pursuit, Officers learned that Celestine had an 18-month old baby, with no child-restraint, in the vehicle. Upon crashing the vehicle, Celestine abandoned the young child and escaped. Celestine then forcibly entered a residence in the 400 block of Lebato Street where he held the 56-year old female occupant for approximately an hour. He then fled the residence, leaving the victim physically unharmed. Lake Charles Police Officers are currently searching for Celestine.

Detectives prepared four warrants on Celestine, which were presented to Judge Guy Bradberry.

Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Hit and Run, Driving under Suspension, No Child Restraint, Child Desertion:          NO BOND
