Texas BarBQ Festival set for June

VIDOR — The Texas BarBQ Festival will be held at Conn Park at 166 South Street in Vidor June 2-4.

The tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Children under 5 can get in free. On Sunday, June 4 there will be free admission. Parking is free.

There will be a carnival, vendors, food and beer.

There will be a Mother & Father of the Year. The event will also have Pie Throwing, a Hot Legs Contest (Men only) along with a Horseshoe and Washer tournaments.

Vidor Rocks will host a rock painting and rock hunt for the kids.

There will also be laser tag, game trailer, hero blast, arrow tag, knocker ball and paintball.

There will be plenty of music as well.

On Friday, June 2 the opening act will be John Cessac, the opener will be Unkle Jam and the headliner will be Bag of Donuts.

On Saturday, June 3 Mike Buller will be the opening act. Zydecane will be the opener and the headliner will be Travis Matte & The Kingpins.
