City gears up for run off election for Dist. 3 seat

Larry Spears Jr. is ready to start his second term as City Council Member Place 6.
Spears won the election with 71-percent of the vote during the May 6 election. He was worn into office on Tuesday morning after the votes were canvassed.
A run off election between Terrie Salter and Michael Smith will be held on June 17, 2017.
Early election will be 8:30 a.m. – 4:40 p.m. Monday – Friday June 5 – June 13 with times extended to 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday June 6 and June 13. Early voting will take place at the Orange Public Library located at 220 North 5th Street in Orange.
