Library Book sale

The Friends of the Orange Public Library is announcing the Library’s annual used book sale for the week of Tuesday, May 9 through Friday noon, May 12.

The sale is in the meeting room of the library at 220 5th St. in Orange.

In addition to the book sale the Friends organization is having a window drawing for Friends of the Orange Library members only. Memberships are April 1, 2017-March 31, 2018.

All current members, including past Life members, will be eligible for the drawing, which contains mostly items which lend to pleasure of reading.

The lucky person whose name is drawn receives everything in the display window.

Memberships can be purchased at the circulation desk for $5.The drawing will be after the book sale.

The schedule of the sale is as follows: Tuesday, May 9, 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (Friends members only memberships may also be purchased that evening.)

The sale is open to the public Wednesday, May 10, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Thursday, May 11, 10 a.m.-6p.m. (items will be half-price until 5 p.m., then $1 at box until 6 p.m.); Friday, May 12, 10 a.m.-noon (items $1 at box).

A library card is not required.
